For architects, developers and contractors, SilentXpress delivers high acoustic performance with tested and published sound and fire-rated assemblies, in a footprint that is meaningfully narrower than a traditional chase wall.
The new system utilizes proprietary connectors (Type CWSC) with ProSTUD® framing to connect adjacent studs under a single track for reduced sound transmission. The connectors are available in two sizes—one for 3-5/8" wall assemblies and one for 6" wall assemblies—for design flexibility across a wide range of project types.
